I'm Hillari, a Licensed Clinical Counselor in the State of Ohio. I have over 30 years of experience, including working in a shelter for survivors of domestic violence, a shelter for runaway teens, a mental health crisis center, a mens' prison, and a community mental health agency. My expertise is with all types of mood disorders, including bipolar, depression, and anxiety.
With my years of experience, I have come to understand that many people just need to be heard. Over the course of my career, I have developed a client-centered approach, ensuring that the client feels understood, while helping to build cognitive behavior skills in an empathetic and therapeutic setting.

Hillari was amazing. From the first message she let me know that she heard me and was there to help. Her messaging was prompt and directed to my needs. We had a video conference session that was also focused and catered to where I was and what I needed. She offered practical strategies to help me move through my tough time.
Hillari is very helpful for me. She's been very insightful and I like the worksheets she provides. They help me work through my anxiety and make me feel a bit more confident about my work. I feel like I've been able to talk to her right off the bat and she makes me feel comfortable talking about anything.
Hillari has been patient, kind and supportive through the time I've spoken with her. She has provided me with resources that were helpful to start making small but consistent changes towards goals, which I am appreciative of. I definitely would recommend her to anyone who needs someone to talk to.
Struggling with problems in my life and one of the hardest things that I have ever done is ask for help. Only to be told that she can't help me. I guess I'm a lost case.................
