About me
Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina with over 6 years of experience working as a psychotherapist at both a middle school and a community mental health agency. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including: depression, anxiety, mood disorders, LGBTQA+, disabilities, OCD, and trauma, among many other things.
My counseling style is warm, eclectic, and fun! I think we should enjoy our therapy sessions and I see this as a relationship of equals. We are *partners* in your treatment. I strongly believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don't believe in stigmatizing labels or stereotypes. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, somatic/mindful, art, narrative, and existential therapy...and/or any other style that may work for you! I have a broad knowledge and diverse experience in several different schools of therapy and treatment and I know that not everything is everyone's cup of tea. Part of the process is finding what works best for you!
It takes a lot of courage to ask for help and to want to do better for yourself or your loved ones. You are already a survivor. A warrior. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. You are trying to show up for yourself and that is *amazing*. I hope you already feel some pride in that :) And, you can't pour from an empty cup, right? So, let's get to work on filling that bad boy back up!
I look forward to working with you!
All the best,
Holly

Holly has been a huge help to me since I started seeing her. I feel a huge difference in myself and I am happy with the person I am becoming. I don’t know if I could have made this much progress without her help and guidance. I have been able to create healthier boundaries and coping skills with her help. It is also extremely freeing to have a safe space here and have a safe person to speak to.
