Hello. I'm a graduate of NYU's Silver School of Social Work Master's program with ten years of clinical experience. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), psychotherapist and counselor. My approach is client-centered, which means I employ various therapeutic modalities catered to individual client needs. I place considerable emphasis on creating safe space and building a trusting therapeutic alliance. From there, our work may include goal-oriented and solution focused approaches and/or talk therapy and psychodynamic support, based entirely on the needs of each client and their presenting challenges.
I've worked with adults, couples, and adolescents, offering a safe environment to explore and resolve conflict. Often impasses, whether interpersonal or environmental, limit our ability to navigate successfully. I offer tools and techniques to address internal and external incongruities to live a more peaceful and authentic life.
I also specialize in services for the trans* and gender non-conforming/gender expansive community as well as lesbian, gay, bisexual, questioning and queer identified clients and their families.
