About me

Life sometimes throws us a curveball…we have all been there! At times, one must seek guidance to help get through those rough patches. You are taking the first step toward healing and that is a huge step in the direction you are looking to go!

I have nearly 30 years of experience working with children and families, problem-solving issues that may occur in life. I have worked with small group, large group and one-to-one counseling. I currently hold my Master’s in Special Education, as well as a second Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Some issues that I have helped people work through are: stress and anxiety, family relations, anger issues, ADHD, OCD and compulsive behaviors.

I use a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral (challenges your current thoughts and/or actions and helps to learn better ways of coping) and Solution-Focused methods (focus on present and future to solve a problem/issue), tailored to your specific needs.

My goal is to help you through the crisis and other adjustment issues that may arise in life. Together, we can move in a positive direction so that you may develop new skills to help you cope with your troubling feelings and/or behaviors.
