About me

Beginning your healing journey is not easy as life experiences and changes can be difficult to navigate and can take you out of your comfort zone. I believe in providing an environment that is warm and nurturing to provide a safe space for you to work at your own pace. I have been in the mental health field for over 10 years; working with adults and youth that is geared toward meeting the needs of each individual. My non-judgmental approach to counseling is built on a foundation of rapport, trust, collaboration, positive regards and empowerment. Each session is intentional and designed to provide you a safe space to work on becoming the best version of yourself; there is no issue too large or small that cannot be addressed in counseling. My current work schedule for open sessions: Monday-Friday 9 am first session - 4 pm last session.

I really appreciate Jaclyn’s warm manner when visiting with her during therapy sessions. It’s clear she truly cares for her clients and wants the best for me. Sharing wins and success with her, she get excited and cheers me on. Sharing challenges, she always says, “okay, we’ll work on that” and never makes me feel like something is wrong with me for having that challenge or need. Very supportive overall and gives lots of encouragement during the week with journal prompts and check-ins.
