About Me

My name is Jacquie Woods. I am a professional clinical counselor with over 6 years of working as a psychotherapist in California. I have worked with client with a wide range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting and autism. I have also counseled people who were victims of crimes, domestic violence and childhood trauma.
My counseling approach is centered around the client. I do not give advice but assist clients on their journey of self discovery and healing. I work with clients on effective coping skills and stress the importance of self-care. My counseling style combines cognitive-behavioral and humanistic counseling. I will tailor our time together to implement a unique treatment plan designed specifically to your needs.
Life is a journey. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life. Seeking therapy is the first step to self discovery. I am here to encourage and support you.
