Greetings, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in both private and government settings as a behavioral health counselor. Currently I am seeking to extend my services remotely thru private practice due to the prevalent and emergent need for qualified professional counselors. Patient centered care through 3rd wave therapy interventions such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral approaches summarizes my practice style. Experience has taught me that awareness is the doorway to change.

This was my first time trying therapy. I was both anxious and nervous, but James made the space very comfortable for me. Three weeks in and I have felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders. Grateful for the safe space he created for me.

Great therapist & human being with a calming inviting demeanor, that gives one the ability to share and understand there are individuals in this world willing to help towards recovery and development. Consistently takes active stock in listening to one’s process, then proactively suggests necessary tools one can do, improving themselves within their current growth stage. There are few people in this world with that capability and temperance aiding you to become your better self. I have only had one session with Mr. Brown but in that time he has seemed very knowledgeable in his field, caring and listens. He has a very positive attitude, and texted me in person when I had to cancel my last appointment. I look forward to working with him further.

Working with James has been awesome. I’m new to therapy but not with people, and I think what James does in allowing me to talk my problems out, and solve them on my own while he adds input on suggestions has been so helpful. He has also helped give me a really good direction towards where I need to be going. Speaking with James, was exactly what I needed in what has to this point been the darkest point in my life. I can’t thank him enough for his help and continued support in this transformation period of my life into helping me identify things I can improve on to help make myself a better person.
