About me

I have been in private practice in Phoenix and Scottsdale Arizona since 2004 and has been a licensed therapist for almost 20 years.

I am a graduate of New York University (NYU) with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Having worked in New York City in the early years of my career and Scottsdale/Phoenix over the last ten years, I have extensive experience with diverse cultural backgrounds and have counseled clients with a wide range of challenges. I frequently work with individuals and couples on relationship issues, stress, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma and depression. I have extensive experience with managing sexual identity issues, including gay, lesbian, and transgender clients. I also frequently counsel clients with sexual addiction and chemical dependency.

I always use a non-judgmental approach to my therapeutic methods and create a strong sense of trust my clients. I like to start by creating a positive sense of self and use that foundation to overcome challenges that limit one’s full potential. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) are among the techniques I often use in working with clients. I tell clients that I like to blend my clinical skills and life coaching to keep counseling interesting and engaging.

If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
