About me

I am licensed as an Independent Mental Health Counselor, certified as a disordered gambling counselor and provisionally licensed as a drug and alcohol counselor. I graduated with a Master’s of Science in Community Counseling in 2012 from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. I have been practicing since 2012.

My areas of interest are relationship issues, women's issues, depression, anxiety, substance and behavioral addictions, life transitions, OCD, stress, family conflict, and self-esteem issues. However, I enjoy working with individuals struggling with any issue if I and the individual agree that I can be of assistance to them.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, positive psychology, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I strongly believe in the connection between our physical and mental health and enjoy helping individuals find ways to improve both in addition to finding overall balance in their life. I will let you guide your treatment based on your specific needs and goals.

She asks questions that make me really think about what I could be doing better to change my situation. She really listens and I enjoy talking with her
