I cannot reccomend Jamie enough!! I've tried counseling many times before and every time was somehow worse than the last?

With Jamie I feel 100% heard, accepted, & given the tools to succeed. I learn more about myself and how to be a better mother every single session, which is wild. I appreciate how warm and natural the sessions are and her vast knowledge
of child development. I appreciate ALL the tools she gives me, suggestions/worksheets/frameworks to look into. Thank you for taking the time to help me, it's done more good already that you will ever know. I really do not shut up about Jamie and Betterhelp in general.

I really appreciate Jamie, she’s willing to get down to the nitty gritty and work baby steps at a time no matter how long it might take to get to my goal. She’s one of the only providers I’ve had that isn’t scared off, or felt limited, by my trauma or needs. I feel heard and accepted for who I am now and who I want to become in my life. I like that I can jot little notes throughout the week and get feedback on them. Then I have time to really find the focus of my next meeting, which sometimes I don’t even know! She’s so great about reading between what I say and knowing ok this is what you need right now, and then once we make that tiny move, on the the bigger move throughout the course of weeks. I felt very hopeless that I wouldn’t find someone who could help me. Our first conversation she said I can and will help you. That right there was a huge relief. After 3 “in person” therapist said I’m too much, I need more medication, I’m not ready... she said bull crap you are b/c you’re here, let’s get started. It was such a dark cloud lifted off me that she could see I can do this, I’m not hopeless or a lost cause. Even though I have dark times where I feel that I am, she brings me back to the brighter cloud, even if it’s a little gray I can still see the light. That’s really huge for me. She literally is saving my life, one week at a time.

Jamie is really nice and helpful. She is the first counselor I’ve ever seen that made me feel safe and like I could open up about my trauma. I have tried doing traditional in-person counseling with multiple people before but I never have made much headway until getting betterhelp and taking to Jamie. She believes me and listens to me genuinely and makes me feel so validated and like I’m not crazy.
