I’m passionate about writing, LifeHacks Blog, and advocacy for medical cannabis, trauma and abuse survivors.
I need self-care as well and therefore do not work on Saturday or Sunday.

I like responding by text in stead of going in to a office or by phone. This way if I'm busy I can text back when I can.

Jamie is a kind hearted caring therapist who listens to what you say and really seeks to understand. I've struggled with other therapists in the past that don't listen to want I say so it is refreshing for someone like her to actually read the words I'm saying, I feel heard. :)
Jamie has been a wonderful resource and very helpful! She has done a good job at prodding out what it is that has been plaguing me and has very respectful and understanding! She certainly reserves any judgment and has been very friendly, objective, and helpful!

Wow, I was a bit skeptical about how well virtual counseling would work. Boy was I wrong. Not only have I been able to learn new things about myself within a matter of days, I truly love my therapist! She listens, doesn’t judge, has been incredibly helpful, and she’s funny too! My kind of gal. I’ve done in person therapy in the past with no real luck. Jamie Vander Velden however has blown me away already. Hands down worth every penny to be able to talk to her! I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Jamie asks smart questions and shares her expertise in a way that helps me think through my challenges. She gets me. After 2 weeks, I'm already emotionally stronger.
Jamie is a fantastic person whom is extremely supportive, if she doesn't hear from you in a couple of days she makes sure that she touches base with you to see how you are.
