If selected as your therapist, I would draw on my professional experiences to help meet your specific needs.

As a therapist, I am very compassionate, open-minded, empathic, and patient. I do believe in focusing on solutions and not problems. I also believe that we all possess personal strengths to which we can draw from and use for intrinsic motivation. My specialty is cognitive-behavioral therapy, but I also utilize motivational-enhancement techniques, solution-focused brief therapy, and systemic approaches. During our initial dialog, we will collaborate to develop a treatment plan that targets specific goals which leverage your strengths and address your unique and specific concerns.

Let me help you tap into your own personal strengths so that you can overcome the obstacles and barriers in your life. Jamillah was very good. She listened to my concerns, was detailed and would send worksheets to help me better understand what the problem was. It was a good experience.

Jamillah has been warm, attentive and quite understanding with me. She has approached my complicated, non-traditional situation with a great level of respect of and care. Personally, she is helping me identify and address ineffective patterns in my behavior so that I may achieve the results I desire.

Jamillah has been a great help to me. I was very hesitant about speaking with someone online and that they wouldn't understand me but I was completely wrong. While I'm continuing to seek her help she has provided me with great solutions in a compassionate and caring approach.
