Jane Kelly, BACP
About me
Hello, I’m Jane.
I want to acknowledge the immense courage it takes to reach out for help and to find a therapist that feels like the right fit for you. This journey can be both daunting and rewarding.
I specialise in a person-centred (client-led) approach to therapy, which means I prioritise your unique experiences and perspective. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where you can comfortably share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. I believe that you have a deep understanding of your own life and what causes you pain, which means you hold the keys to your healing process.
In our sessions, you'll find my approach to be warm and respectful. I strive to build a trusting relationship that encourages open dialogue and vulnerability. Together, we will work to cultivate empowerment, enhance self-awareness, and develop insight into your experiences. This process is collaborative, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
I understand that seeking a more fulfilling and happier life requires bravery, as it often involves addressing difficult emotions and stepping outside of your comfort zone. If you feel ready to take that significant step toward change, I am here to guide you and provide the support you need on your journey toward healing and personal growth.

I feel that Jane really listens to me and understands me and what I’m thinking. She also remembers all the detail about my life that I’ve told her and feel she is very invested in helping me through my problems.

I was really nervous to start therapy, but I wish I'd started talking to Jane sooner. Although some of the topics that come up in therapy are not particularly easy to talk about, I really enjoy our sessions and I come away feeling hopeful and energised. I feel that Jane really understands me and I would highly recommend her to my friends and family.

Jane manages to make you feel safe and understood. She's quick to respond to messages and gives you the feeling that your input and thoughts are valued and taken seriously. She's interested in what clients have to say and wants to really understand what moves and motivates a client.
