About Me

Hello, my name is Janet. I am a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina. I am also licensed in South Carolina as a Licensed Independent Social Worker. I have the gift of talk therapy and would love to spend time chatting with you. I have a strength in helping my clients to reach a better understanding of their symptoms, goals, and challenges as they choose their path to recovery. Remember, recovery is not a race but an individual journey. I have extensive experience in crisis management, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and anger management. I have worked with diagnosis such as Bipolar, Schizoaffective, Anxiety and Major Depressive Disorders.

I use motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapies. I create a safe zone for my clients to feel comfortable enough to share without judgement. I hope to hear from you soon!
Janet

Janet is talented at getting to the root of whatever you might be struggling with! She is as supportive after a panic attack as she is before an interview!

Janet has been very helpful in my journey to improve my mental health. Our sessions have helped me decipher how to organize my thoughts and understand how to talk about what i’m going through.
