Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Janet Newsham. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I have worked with Janet for years now and I can definitively say that my life has improved in so many ways thanks to her guidance. I never experienced the true effects of CBT before I met Janet. She is a true professional but is as sincere and as caring as you would want in a therapist and more so.

I have spent the last 8 months speaking with Janet Newsome and can not be more impressed with her ability and desire to help. I would highly recommend Betterhelp and Janet.

It took me a very long time to get help and a lot of that was attributed to all the horror stories I’ve heard from friends seeing therapists that weren’t the right fit for them. I expected to spend years finding a therapist that would offer me what I needed and wanted out of that relationship. Luckily, it didn’t take long for me to find Janet and I have felt so incredibly fortunate ever since! She is amazing at creating a safe and comforting environment for anyone who comes in contact with her which, in my opinion, is one of the most important parts of being a therapist. She makes you feel heard, validated, comfy, and right at home on Day 1. I don’t know where I’d be without her, but I do know that I’m so grateful to have found her!

Janet has been working with me for the better portion of this year. I've had several therapists over a span of 10 years, and Janet is by far the best. Nobody else even really comes close. I feel like I'm gaining so much insight and learning more about myself than ever before, and I feel like for the first time I leave sessions with actionable next-steps and "homework" that I can work on and begin to apply in every day life, which I greatly appreciate. In the past, therapy often felt like I was venting to someone in a coffee shop and discussing it, but you can tell Janet genuinely cares so much and with her help I actually feel like I'm growing as a person. I'm so grateful.

I was ready to give up on better help, but I gave it another shot with Janet and I am so glad to have done so. She’s incredibly attentive and listens in an inviting and non judgmental way, always allowing me to be my full self. She also has a good sense of humor and is very reaffirming. Everyone should have a Janet in their life!
