Janna is patient

Janna has been amazing! She always lets me guide my sessions but is always there to offer support if I’m unsure what I need that day. I feel like she’s always keeping my goals in mind and helping me reach them by listening and supporting me!

In the short time I’ve been talking with Janna Kaina I can see improvement in my awareness, reactions to situations, and communication. She’s been great at helping me to understand how my mind processes information from a trauma informed perspective and provides me with the tools necessary to grow in awareness plus coming up with coping skills that fit to my unique needs. It was important for me to find a therapist with whom I felt comfortable with and was educated in DBT skills. I never feel judged or like my concerns aren’t heard. She meets you where you’re at and helps facilitate a gentle guide back to my true self! Thanks Janna!

Janna is great! I feel very comfortable talking with her and our talks usually make the rest of my week go smoother. She gives me specific things to work on through the week that don't seem too overwhelming to accomplish. Thanks Janna!

I have been grateful for my sessions with Janna Kaina. I haven't done therapy in awhile and it's been good to come back to it. I have felt safe with Janna and been able to open up. Janna is always very present with me. She will refer back to things I've mentioned and said in past sessions, so I know she doesn't just listen to what I'm saying, she really hears it too. With each session, I've come away with something I can use out in the world. I have appreciated Janna's gentle yet very aware approach to therapy. And, even though I have been doing individual sessions with her, I feel it has been helping with issues within my marriage. I have the feeling she would be an excellent couples therapist as well.
