About me

Hello, I am a Licensed Psychologist in the state of New Mexico. I have worked as a therapist for approximately 8 years with children, adolescents, and adults. I truly enjoy therapy, it is my passion, and I have spent a great deal of time and energy studying and practicing therapy. I utilize an integrated, non-judgmental approach to therapy, and I strive to fully understand the individuals I am working with. Due to the nature of therapy I believe it is most important for individuals to feel comfortable with their therapist. As a result, I am attuned to the comfort level of individuals I am helping, and encourage them to seek out a therapist that they are most comfortable with. I strive to match therapeutic interventions with the unique needs of the individual I am working with. I believe that I am most helpful to individuals struggling with depression or low self-esteem, weight loss and obesity issues, relationship issues, and infidelity issues.

Dr. Gonzales is an amazing therapist! He listens and knows how to send you in the right direction. He lets you know when you are having irrational thoughts and how to think the right way about your problems! I would honestly recommend him to everyone!
