I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have received my Masters of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. I have over 9 years of experience in the mental health field and have worked in various clinical environments such as psychiatric hospitals, county jails and insurance providers.
I am committed to working with diverse populations such as adults dealing with depression, bipolar disorder, stress management, substance abuse, racial identity, life transitions, trauma and men's issues.
I have a passion for helping others reach their full potential. I thoroughly believe in starting the healing process and helping you develop and maintain stability in order to become your best self. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I have the ability to show compassion and empathy for my clients.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as my primary theoretical approach. I firmly believe that our thoughts, feelings and behaviors intermingle with each other. If we can work on influencing that triad through cognitive restructuring then we can truly begin our journey through life.
I look forward to working with you!
