Hello! Welcome to your journey to happiness! I am a proud Californian, who has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California since 2013 and the State of Arizona since 2020. I obtained my Master of Social Work degree in 2005 at California State University, East Bay. My personal and professional journey continued to Southern California in 2006. I am now living and practicing as a Psychotherapist in San Diego, California.

I have experience providing direct clinical services with youth, individuals and couples. I specialize in depression, stress & anxiety, motivation, self-esteem & confidence, trauma & abuse, LGBT-related issues, family conflicts, relationship issues and coping with life changes, grief & loss. My practice nurtures a non-judgmental, supportive atmosphere rooted in safety, mutual trust, respect, and honesty. My therapeutic style is integrative, with elements of mindful and open conversations coupled with a client-centered approach.

Life throws us challenges, obstacles and roadblocks. Starting therapy is a big decision to becoming a better you. Therapy is place where you can tap into your most authentic self, undue the obstacles in your life, and be goal directed to inner peace, healing and happiness. You are the narrator and author of your life story. We will work in tandem to rediscover and recreate your story of hope, happiness, and healing.

Jaronda is incredibly kind, helpful and an expert in providing useful exercises for folks who want therapy to also be solutions oriented (like me). I’m grateful for the weekly time I spend with her through our tele-therapy sessions and have seen progress in dealing with some more difficult issues from my past. Grateful to be working with a female therapist of color; I don’t feel like I have to over explain my experiences for her to understand.

Jaronda is a fantastic counselor. She’s a great listener that actually takes takes in information, processes it and follows up on it. She makes me feel heard and understood. She picks up on things that are unsaid and takes questionnaires seriously and uses them as an opening for conversation versus just looking at them as necessary paperwork. I talked to a few counselors on and off the app before her and she is really a rare find. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a strategic partner to help them process their issues, reach their goals or simply find a path to peace during a difficult time.
