About me

I received my Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in Psychology from Valdosta State University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University, and I am an Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Through my coursework and continued educations courses I have training in, Play Therapy, Psychopathology, and Career Counseling. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, with a variety of concerns such as, behavior problems, self-esteem issues, anxiety, and depression. It is my belief that as people become more aware and accepting of themselves, they are more capable of finding a sense of peace and contentment in their lives. However, self-awareness and self-acceptance are goals that may take a long time to achieve. Some clients need only a few sessions to achieve these goals, whereas others may require months or even years of therapy. I believe it is my job as a therapist, not to have the right answers for you, but to have questions that lead to your self- exploration and insight to find your own answers.
