I earned my M.A. in clinical psychology with a focus in marriage and family therapy from Pepperdine University in 2012. Since then, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults. Additionally, I have worked as a Residential Assistant in a group treatment home for women with Borderline Personality Disorder and emotion regulation issues. Currently, I work as a primary therapist at an outpatient group practice in the South Bay region of Los Angeles where I provide individual therapy, group skills training, and phone coaching for my clients.
My primary clinical focus is treating anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, trauma-related issues, relationship problems, phase of life changes, and difficulty coping with life's day-to-day stressors. I consider myself as a culturally sensitive therapist and have worked with individuals from a variety of cultural, religious, sexual orientation and socioeconomic backgrounds. My primary clinical approach is a utilization of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), which is a research-based approach to treating Borderline Personality Disorder and other emotion regulation issues. I also utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach, which means that my goal, as your therapist, is to help you create positive change in your life through identifying and restructuring self-limiting thoughts and actions. I have a warm and caring approach and am compassionate about your specific needs and life experiences. While I aim to gain an understanding of your concerns, I collaborate with my clients to identify solutions that can lead to changes that my clients are proud of - I want to help you create a life that you are excited to live.
If you're in need of a listening ear and someone who is eager to help you move through life's rough transitions, contact me! I would love to help.

Jasmynn has been an amazing help in my life. Everywhere from working on problems as they came up and helping me identify the paths that would ensure a positive outcome as well as handling situations that I’ve been battling for years. This service and her understanding and patience has been a life changer. I will continue to use this resource as a way to better my life. THANK YOU JASMYNN!!!
Jasmynn has been supportive and practical. I appreciate how she helps me get things into perspectives and provides techniques on how I can better perceive and address stressful situations. She has been a valuable confidant during my times of emotional stress.
So far in getting to know my therapist, she is very knowledgeable and helpful and I feel like me and her and going to work through my anxiety.
It has been a blessing to receive help from Jasmynn. This is my first time doing therapy, and she is my second counselor on BetterHelp. I am surprised with how open I can be with her- how easily I started trusting her, and how quickly my healing has progressed just after my first live session with her. She has helped me gain awareness on mental health, deepened my compassion for others, and opened my eyes to my own strength. It has been an empowering experience so far.
Jasmynn is incredibly kind and understanding! Her insight has really helped me tackle difficult emotions and put things in perspective.
She’s an amazing person
