Jason Pawlik, LPC
About me
Therapy can be a difficult process, but the end result is very rewarding and life changing. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify specific therapeutic goals that fit the individual’s lifestyle. I am very compassionate about helping people with addictions, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, relational conflicts, and behavioral problems.
In addition to counseling, I am also a volunteer firefighter. I am aware of the traumas other first responders face daily. First responders, and the victims who are involved in traumatic events, may not develop symptoms of a problem immediately following the experience. In some cases, symptoms of trauma may not occur for months or even longer after experiencing one or more traumatic events. Being able to relate to my clients greatly enables me to support them in taking control of their lives.
