Jay is great I always feel heard and respected. He also is great about keeping me accountable.

He's very gentle about how he approaches your feelings and that's really appreciated. There's never any invalidation or questioning of your interpretation of events, but simply a probing that there's possibly another side to consider when approaching difficult people/situations in your life.

I was seeking help in controlling my anger because it was scaring my wife. I wanted to stop my behavior of yelling or throwing things when I get mad. Jay kept telling me that he is hearing no commitment to change my ways over and over. I became puzzled, confused and started to get upset because I didn’t know what he wanted me to say. I explained that I’m trying to work on developing skills that will help with anger or get good advice. It felt like he already gave up on me before we even started. Was not helpful at all and just made me feel like im a lost cause and that I can’t change my ways. Am I supposed to come out more upset than I did coming in? I would have had a better day if I had not even talked to him at all.

Jay is gentle, attentive, insightful and calming. Loved working with him and will do so again in the future if needed.

Phenomenal therapist.
He masters the delicate blend of great empathy and understanding with accountability so that progress and growth can be achieved. This is exactly what I required. It has not been an easy journey but it has been a fruitful one thus far; one where I’ve felt supported every step of the way.

It was my first session with BetterHelp and I’m glad I got matched with Jay. He’s very open-minded and a good listener. His advice are positive and really made me question myself at times.
