About me

Life is already hard enough without pandemics, politics-gone-bad, and racism rearing it's ugly head. Not one of us is designed to deal with life solo. We all need -and deserve- support! You're taking an awesome step right now. I will become a legit, solid source of support for you if you let me. It's in my DNA. My goal is to offer you validation, compassion, objective listening, supportive guidance, and hope. I don't want you to feel alone. Let's dive in and navigate these perplexing waters together.

I obtained my Masters' degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin, and have eighteen years of clinical experience in multiple settings, including a residential treatment center, psychiatric hospital, school setting, and private practice. I specialize in issues of life-direction, relationship challenges, self-identity, low self-worth, depression, divorce, anxiety, blended families, unplanned pregnancy, and job-loss. We can discuss issues from a Christian lens if you wish. Addressing these kinds of issues can make you more confident, wiser, more content, and can create more peace in your life.

It takes a lot of courage and strength to address difficult issues. Let's make counseling something you look forward to. Something that's comfortable and encouraging with a healthy dose of challenge and new perspectives.
