About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, (LPC) in private practice in the Austin, Texas area for over 30 years. My practice includes helping couple with marriage and family issues as well as individual with emotional challenges, such as depression, anxiety, grief and trauma. Much of my practice entails working to help a client balance the Emotional, Physical & Spiritual areas of identity. Through the years I have used cognitive-behavorial therapy but have found other modalities can be effective in assisting people to move past blocked and hides emotional and move toward balance and emotional freedom.

My clients say I am easy to talk with and listen compassionately and respectfully to their concerns. I will work with the client to help them assess the real issues and set up a treatment plans that meet their short term and long term goals. I want to walk along beside my clients toward healing, hope and encouragement.

I appreciate how Jean doesn’t let me blame others. She has a unique way of helping me look at myself. I’ve always blamed others and wanted to make them pay. Or I wanted to win and show them I’m better. I’m thankful she is helping me find love and peace through scripture, prayer, and patience.
