About me
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with over 32 years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, parenting and marital problems, as well as co-leading a healing support group for women who have discovered betrayal from their partner. I have worked with clients who have experienced trauma and emotional abuse and provided a safe space for them to process their pain as well as learn how their past can impact their current relationships. Together we walk through the process of changing their patterns and learn new ways to relate to others.
I view people in a holistic way believing that all parts of your being (mind, body, and spirit) should be a part of the conversation as well as the solution. My style is directive yet compassionate and patient. I believe that the client needs to practice learned skills outside of the therapy session in order to successfully change patterns of behavior. My style combines among other theories, a cognitive behavioral approach as well as utilizing some motivational interviewing in order to assist with motivation if it is lacking. I tailor every treatment plan to each individual, and their unique needs and desired outcome.
Taking the first step is hard but doing so will be very rewarding. You will find a compassionate, non-judgmental and respectful listener in me who will guide you through the therapeutic process to help you achieve the goals you have. I look forward to working with you!

Jean is the very BEST!
I am so grateful for Jean and for the environment of safety and engagement she consistently provides in our sessions. I feel truly heard, understood, and inspired to stay in the process of healing.
I can’t say enough good things about Jean. I’ve felt comfortable opening up to her from the start and I look forward to our weekly sessions. She is always kind and nonjudgmental, but also calls me out when I need to be. It’s been helping me grow so much and I can see how much I’ve changed since we first started. I’m very grateful that I was matched with Jean because I can honestly say that I love my therapist.
Honestly at first I was really nervous about therapy because I never done this before but Jean has really put my life back in order and helped me see things that i would have never even thought of I honestly would recommend her over anyone she’s just the best!!
Great to work with.
Jean is truly the best therapist I've ever had. She's helping me truly work on myself in the most profound way and I couldn't be more grateful to have her in my mental health corner, supporting me every step of the way.
Jean was an answer to prayer from the moment I had my first video call with her. She’s an incredible listener, very understanding, I never felt judged even when I was being most vulnerable. Her soothing voice is a cherry on top. Highly recommend!
Jean has been an amazing therapist so far! Listening to what I have to say and understanding my crazy work schedule!
