About Me

Hi I'm Jean. have 30 years of experience helping people reach their goals and find contentment. I have gathered many years of rich, hands on experience in this field.
I have worked in geriatric, adolescent and adult psychiatric hospitals, emergency rooms, outpatient counseling centers and primary medical clinics. I enjoy working with teens, adults, couples, families and individuals. I have many models and techniques to draw from but cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and psychodynamics are the primary models I work from to relieve trauma, grief, depression and anxiety that may be temporary or chronic. I am particularly passionate about helping my clients with grief, loss, trauma and fear of death.

I would like to teach you how to take control of your thoughts then identify and work with feelings that may be holding you back. You can discover your personal strengths and live anxiety free. Together we can explore the dynamics of relationships, helping you transform your relationships into sources of happiness and fulfillment. As your therapist I provide a sensitive and accepting environment and promise to be your kind and patient guide. As your partner in self discovery I would love to help you on your journey toward fulfillment.

Jean has been amazing. She listens and provides straight forward, no-nonsense insight to my concerns. She supports me and encourages me when I show progress and finds ways to help me self-correct when I'm not meeting the standards we have established for my mental health improvement. I'm really enjoying working with her.

Jean is a great counselor. She has a wealth of experience dealing with so many different people with different struggles. I've only had one session with her but I already feel comfortable talking to her. The biggest factor for me why I like her is she is easy to talk to. She doesn't talk down on you. You don't feel ashamed telling her your deepest thoughts which I think is extremely important.
