Hello! My name is Jeannette and I am an LPC in Pennsylvania and an LCPC in Kansas. I began my career as a high school teacher with dreams of becoming a school counselor. After getting married and having a family, I pursued a Master's degree in mental health counseling. For the last 4 years, I worked as an outpatient therapist where I provided services for children, adolescents, and adults. I worked with mental health and substance abuse issues.
I would describe my counseling style as warm and person-centered. I have a strong background in CBT as well as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). I am also not afraid to be direct with my clients if it is necessary.
I believe that all of my clients are more courageous than they give themselves credit for as it takes a lot of strength to ask a complete stranger for help. If you are ready to take that next step I hope we can connect and develop a healthy lifestyle for you.
I look forward to working with you!

Jennette has been great in guiding me on my journey into self-awareness. She is easy to talk to, an insightful writer and most importantly, a direct, no nonsense communicator. She has surprised me with some of her insights, seemingly coming from a sage with decades of experience.
While we have only had one video session so far, Jeannette has been responsive to the journal messages that I have submitted over the past week, including an entry about what goals I hope to achieve in these sessions. It is very comfortable in this relaxed conversation. I found our virtual session to be equally comfortable, non-confrontational, respectful and patient while I collected my thoughts and dried my tears. She listened to my concerns and showed empathy and some suggestions before we ended the session. I look forward to meeting with her again to work through my concerns.
Even with the few sessions I've had so far, Jeannette's mix of proffesionalism, care, and ability to be blunt when needed have had a positive impact on me, and would highly recommend her counsel.
