Jeff has been a huge help! He has been the best counselor I’ve had in 30 years! I appreciate his honesty and insight and that he actually gives insight and not just the generic counseling responses. He does require homework, but you get the best help when you put in your part of the work. Thanks Jeff!
Jeff Gishkin has a way of relating and explaining things that makes you reconsider your everyday thought processes and habits, as well as the accountability and resource support to help you change your mind and your life. I always look forward to the next session!
Jeff did great job helping through marital issues and getting a handle on my anxiety and depression associated with that situation. Stronger and better today. Thanks Jeff.
Jeff is incredibly kind and professional. He keeps it real and does not sugarcoat things. He genuinely cares about our sessions and definitely wants to help me.
Jeff and I just wrapped up our final session after about 2 months of working together, and I have to say I am tremendously pleased with the impact Jeff has had on my mental health journey. He always felt more like a coach than a therapist, and I found that subtle difference to be very beneficial because I am not someone who finds speaking with a therapist easy. Jeff teaches you how to become your own therapist by providing endless resources, challenging you to really analyze your thoughts and giving some tough love when needed. Be ready to do your homework! These sessions required prep work on my end, but it is beyond worth it. I am a much better person because everything Jeff taught me.
Jeff is working with me and in our initial conversation he explained what he does and asked if it would be something I think I could benefit from I was pleased with what I heard and started our journey!
Jeff was a great help after I lost my job. He was professional, fair, objective, and I saw improvement in my anxiety, stress level, and thought process after a few sessions. He assigned appropriate homework and exercises. I would highly recommend him to others.
Jeff is a fantastic listener. He is empathetic, affirming, and will tell you hard truths in a caring way.
Jeff is perfect!! He is tough, but he'll get you through anything.
