About Me

Do you find yourself struggling to deal with your emotions or relationships in a healthy manner? Are you possibly struggling with a significant life transition or stressors? Do you often feel overwhelmed, depressed, or anxious? Are you questioning whether you use substances too much? My specialties include dual-diagnoses, specifically severe mental health, personality disorders, and chemical dependency. I also work with athletes related to sports performance and transitioning from on-field to off-field identities. At the foundation of my therapeutic approach, I first pursue a client-centered approach to help you hone in on and improve your strengths as you are the experts in your lives. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to challenge possible self-sabotaging and irrational beliefs, increase responsibility for choices, and learn to self soothe and regulate mood. I have an open personality and belief system, who feels a non-judgmental stance needs to be taken with each individual, as I want you to feel as comfortable as possible speaking with me so we can work on getting you started living a healthier, happier life!

Jeni is one of the best counselors I have had in years! She truly listens and doesn’t let me get away with trying to change the topic of something that needs to be talked about. She gives that push if you need it.

Jeni Mose is great at what she does. She's real, she's understanding, and she listens. And she connects with me. I've had other therapists that were dull but she is just great. She really engages in what I have to say and in our conversation. I appreciate her work and l look forward to working on myself with her!

Jeni has helped me tremendously since I decided to start seeing a counselor. I'm so grateful to BetterHelp for matching me with her. Life is easier to deal with knowing that I have someone on my side to support me, who isn't judging me, but rather helping me grow in all ways possible. In such a short amount of time she has changed my life for the better and I can't ever thank her enough.

Let me be honest here...when I first saw Jeni's picture my first thought was "She's young!" I had my first appointment and I love her. She has given me great ideas and techniques and has helped me not going down a bigger rabbit hole. I would like to thank her for all the help she continues to give me.

Jeni has such simple and direct ways of getting to the heart of the matter and such great suggestions for changing behaviors through acknowledging and understanding feelings. I found it especially helpful to write to her, and her written responses have been timely and to the point. I so appreciate being able to work with her.

Jeni is one of a kind. She is caring, compassionate, professional, respectful, easy to talk to and she makes you feel like you are not alone. When we are communicating whether it be via email or video sessions, she always makes herself seem relate-able. I really enjoy working with her and think she is great at her profession!
