Thank you for considering me to walk with you on your journey. If you are reaching out for help, I know that you are standing in a difficult moment that may seem impossible to work through. However, I believe that we are created to do life together and that is the goal of my practice. I strongly connect with the saying "Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls..." - Khalil Gibran. There is no guarantee that life will be easy, but I believe that our struggles can not only make us stronger, but give us purpose and meaning.
I am a proud Penn State graduate where I received my Bachelors Degree from and then moved to Delaware to start my Masters program. I completed my Masters in my hometown at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Over the years, I have been blessed to work with multiple different areas of concern including trauma, substance abuse/addiction, abuse, spirituality (faith based), forgiveness, self-esteem, single mothers/fathers, peer or relationship conflict, adolescents, young adults, depression, codependency, chronic health issues and anxiety disorders. I also have a lot of experience and understanding when it comes to chronic health issues and how that impacts someone and family members. I have a lot of compassion, drive, and feel that one of my best qualities is that I am very authentic and I utilize that in therapy because I think it allows a client to feel that they can be more open.
I currently focus a significant amount of my practice on mood/anxiety disorders, relationship concerns/codependency, trauma/forgiveness. I am always honored to hear someone's story and through acknowledging their pain, walk with them through navigating the next steps that will help them to achieve their goals for themselves and their lives. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy techniques, mindfulness and positivity techniques in therapy. I also can utilize faith in therapy if that is requested. I truly believe that everyone's story is important and that is how I view my clients and the circumstances they are walking through when they reach out.
- Stress, Anxiety
- Trauma and abuse
- Self esteem
I also have experience in Addictions, Relationship issues, Family conflicts, Intimacy-related issues, Parenting issues, Anger management, Career difficulties, Bipolar disorder, Coping with life changes, Coaching, Compassion fatigue

She is great and listening and understand about the problems of life. She understands about addiction and life afterwards. I would highly recommend to my friends.
I have been seeing Jenna for a few months now. I felt an immediate connection with her. She acknowledges my feelings and understands how important they are. I feel like she is holding my hand as we walk through this journey. She never judges me even though I’m all over the place sometimes. We are working on boundaries, codependency, grief and self esteem issues. She is very patient with this roller coaster that I’m on. The worksheets that she sends me brings me to the present moment and help me focus on my issues. Right before our sessions I sometimes think I have nothing to say but everything comes pouring out like a river. She is funny, caring and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Jenna as a counselor.
Jenna is amazing. She is able to quickly assess and identify areas that we need to address and able to provide guidance to promote change. I feel extremely comfortable with her.
First of all, I would like to start by saying that I was skeptical of online counseling service. I thought it might be too impersonal or I wouldn't be matched up with a suitable therapist. I was afraid I might have to go through several counselors and have to repeat myself without any real benefit.
I have been with Jenna for one month now on a weekly basis. She has been very understanding and responsive. She gets me grounded when I get upset or over-excited about a topic. She talks to you like a friend. I feel like she really cares about what I'm going through and is very intuitive on many topics. She is very insightful and sends me many worksheets to work on throughout the week. If I have any questions or concerns I just email her and she gets back to me promptly. She sends me weekly or bi-weekly reminders to encourage me throughout the week. I have recently been sending her updates during the week of my progress or my downfalls and she always gets back to me with her opinion or advice. I feel very comfortable talking to Jenna and would encourage anybody who's looking for support in their life to consider her. My personal life is turning around and Jenna is keeping me grounded while I go through my journey. I appreciate her very much.
Jenna is amazing! She genuinely cares about me and my well-being and she is really good at narrowing in on my needs. She is accommodating depending on my needs that day and she checks in on my all the time. I would recommend her to ANY of my friends! She is awesome.
Jenna was a God-send. She helped me through some difficult times in my personal life, and helped me boost my self-esteem. I would recommend her whole-heartedly. She's available for talks, replies very quickly, and is genuinely interested in their lives and issues of her patients. She is also attuned to the issues we talked about, and offers solid advice (that actually works!). She is also not afraid to share personal experiences, and that helped tremendously. She is a wonderful therapist, and I am looking forward to restart our sessions!
I've been working with Jenna Bolton for only a couple of months, but she seems very knowledgable yet still down to earth. I'm nowhere near "recovered" and I have a long way to go, but I am confident that she will in time help me with my emotional issues.
