About Me

People ask me, "when is it time to talk to a therapist?" I don't know anyone who can say everything in their lives is going well. I'm here to help you use your strengths to keep what is going right, and help you find your strengths to fix when things are going wrong. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in working with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and family and relationship struggles. I've worked with nonprofit agencies for over eight years, with the last three years working in private practice. I've been privileged to provide high quality therapy to my clients and together we've grown while beating short-term stress and planning future strategy. I believe the best therapy is collaborative, not prescriptive, and is based on a relationship of trust and mutual respect. My approach is strengths-based and goal oriented. I utilize evidenced based practices and interventions to ensure that the quality of care you receive is not only ethical, but effective. My clients describe me as warm, patient, understanding, and genuine.

I have advanced training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I am an active researcher in how social media impacts our well-being. I have a Master's in Mental Health Counseling and an advanced professional certificate in counseling as well. In addition, I am a PhD level therapist, and I can provide innovative methods to serve you better.

I look forward to our work together, contact me today and let's get started!

She’s always checking up on me when I go AWOL which I find to be great even if others may not like it and she respects my decision of preferring to message instead of phone or video chat. My problem was resolved in a timely manner and it all worked out. She’s great and I would definitely recommend her and BetterHelp.

Dr. Meyerberg is great! She helped me understand the process and what I could expect from BetterHelp. She’s there over messages when I need her and has me helped prioritize three goals to work on. It’s been helpful!
