About me

You’ve been thinking about therapy for a while now. You feel overwhelmed by the daily grind. Unable to balance the demands of work and family. It’s wearing you out. Doing nothing is no longer an option. You’re feeling stuck in a negative headspace. Over-thinking things. Distracted at work.

Maybe you feel less present at home. Or guilty that you’re not being the best parent or partner you can be. You feel yourself headed down the old path towards self-destructive behaviors. You feel alone, and need a helping hand.

I can assure you that you’re not alone. You aren’t damaged, weak, or “broken.” You’re none of those things. You’re simply human. And, these days, being human can be incredibly hard. The weight of the world is on your shoulders. It feels nearly impossible to find the time and space to work these things out.

That’s where I come in.

I’m Jenna Simpson and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Rochester, New York. I’m passionate about helping you develop the skills, and rediscovering the courage you already have, to cope with life’s challenges. We all have the power to live a rich and meaningful life. Let me help you get back to that life. A life we all deserve.

If you think we might be a good fit, I encourage you to give me a call. Let’s chat and see how I might be able to help you transform your life. Taking the first step can be hard. But know this: You’re courageous for reaching out.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jenna Simpson. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I do not have enough time or space to write down all the incredible things I have to say about Jenna. We've been working together for about 8 months now and all I can say is I can't believe the progress I've been able to make towards my goals. Jenna consistently makes me feel understood and validated yet is always able to offer advice, tools, and perspectives that enable me to see situations more holistically. She creates an incredibly safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for her clients that allow for honest reflection and growth. I can not imagine working with anyone else.

She’s incredibly sweet and caring. She doesn’t make me feel weird for the things I do (fixing my hair or still trying to wake up), the way I speak, or the way I deal with situations when I don’t have the patience. She’s caring and uplifting, she’s exactly who I needed.

Jenna is a wonderful counselor. We have only had two live sessions and chatting through text, but I am already very comfortable with her. She understands me and we click

I avoided therapy for a long time and was worried about finding the right fit in a therapist. After a couple of months with Jenna, I don't have enough good things to say about her and am only sorry I waited so long to sign up with BetterHelp. Jenna is empathetic, kind, supportive, and encouraging--each session feels like I'm talking to a good friend and I leave each one feeling more hopeful and optimistic.
