About me

I consider myself a compassionate and experienced mental health therapist specializing in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PTSD in individuals aged 18 and older. I have five years of post-graduate experience and almost a decade of experience in the mental health field. I strive to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their challenges and work toward healing.
Working closely with clients to help them achieve their goals is a passion for me. I challenge clients to overcome personal barriers and build on their strengths to create empowerment and confidence. Individualized to each person’s needs, I use evidence-based modalities to create a safe and encouraging environment, including ACT, DBT, and CBT.
I believe everyone deserves to be heard and listened to with compassion, empathy, and understanding. It is truly an exciting experience when a client makes progress, achieves a goal, overcomes a fear, and amplifies self-esteem. I cannot wait to take that journey with you and be a part of your growth.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jennie Johnson. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

She's been good at dispersing tention when conversations get uncomfortable. I like she can give real examples with her marriage cause we can all relate. Having someone who is genuinely trying to understand and help is in turn helpful. Marriages are messy and cringy, it's a bit less when we can have her help. Definitely recommend.
