About me
“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” (Author unknown)
What battles are you facing? Depression? Anxiety? Addiction? Codependency? Trauma? Low self esteem? Relationship problems? I have over thirteen years of experience helping clients to overcome these issues, and more. I’m licensed as a professional counselor in Maryland and Arizona, and as a drug and alcohol counselor in Maryland. I use a variety of counseling approaches tailored to the needs of my clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and ego-state therapy.
I provide a warm, caring, nonjudgmental space for my clients to share their struggles and find relief. I will meet you where you are. If you’re looking for a sounding board to help you to think through the issues you’re dealing with, I can provide that. If you’d like a more structured, goal-oriented approach, I can provide that, too. I’ll follow your lead as your needs evolve.
I’m really glad that you’ve taken the first step towards healing. I would love to help you as you continue down that path!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jennifer Beall. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Jennifer Beall is a consistent, considerate and strong communicator. I have a bit of a crazy background and I wasn't sure how well chat would work for discussing my concerns, but the way she helps the conversation flow is extremely encouraging. In chat, she gives bite-size insights and tools that help me keep on track with my therapy goals, so it never feels overwhelming. She is so experienced in what she does that her work seems second nature to her, and it makes talking about really rough memories much easier for me.

Jennifer tries very hard and puts a lot of effort in her work. I have found her to care a lot about me. She is good at being gentle and understanding.

She is great in helping me pinpoint my focus on certain things. Offers a 3rd party step back approach to looking at things also.
