Jennifer Blondeau, LPC
About me
Hi, my name is Jennifer. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a wide variety of experience starting in 2008. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology and then from Auburn University with a Master’s of Education degree in Community Agency Counseling. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor as well. I have received advanced training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I am very person centered in my approach; offering empathy and unconditional positive regard to help facilitate change and growth. I also utilize a lot of techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helping you to make the connection between your thoughts, feelings, actions, and consequences . Once we can recognize and replace unhealthy/unhelpful thoughts, our feelings, actions and then consequences change giving us a sense of power and control in our lives. I love helping my clients gain the tools and knowledge to make positive changes in their lives!
