About me
Do you ever feel like you're constantly scanning the room — even when you're safe?
Do you find yourself exhausted by how much you manage, but still feel like you're falling apart on the inside?
Have you spent years minimizing your pain, telling yourself “it wasn’t that bad”… and yet, your body tells a different story?
If these questions land in a place that’s hard to name, you’re not alone — and you’re not broken.
I go by Jennifer. I work with people who’ve experienced complex trauma — the kind that leaves invisible wounds and shows up in relationships, perfectionism, chronic self-doubt, or feeling like you're too much and never enough all at once.
You may not remember everything that happened. You may have learned to disconnect from your own needs just to get through the day. But somewhere inside you, there's still a part that hopes — for peace, for rest, for a sense of self that isn’t always bracing for impact.
My work is about meeting that part. Creating a space where your nervous system can slowly learn that it's safe to exist. To feel. To heal.
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you — it’s about helping you come home to yourself, piece by piece, with compassion, safety, and care. I see the quiet strength it takes to keep going when the past feels heavy and the future uncertain. You have lived through trauma—pain that has left its mark on your body, mind, and heart. Whether it’s family wounds, sexual or physical abuse, or the unique challenges of navigating your identity in a world that hasn’t always embraced you, your experience is deeply real and profoundly valid.
It’s okay to feel lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected. It’s okay to have days when simply surviving feels like the bravest thing you can do. You are not broken—you are human. You have carried burdens that no one should have to carry alone, and yet here you are, still moving forward, still seeking healing and wholeness.
This is a space where your story can be held with tenderness and respect. Where your pain is met with empathy, and your growth is celebrated, no matter how small it may seem. You deserve to be seen, heard, and understood exactly as you are.
You are not defined by what happened to you. You are defined by your courage to face each day and your capacity to heal in your own time and way. I see you. I honor your journey. And I hold space for all the parts of you that are still finding their way back to joy and peace. I see you.
While I deeply respect and honor all healing journeys, my practice is specifically focused on trauma and attachment-related issues. Because of this, certain concerns may be better supported elsewhere to ensure you receive the most appropriate care for your needs.
My practice may not be the best fit for individuals seeking support primarily for:
Life transitions
Parenting coaching or guidance
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) treatment
Anxiety disorders that are not trauma-related
Eating disorders as a primary concern
Depression without underlying trauma
Autism spectrum diagnoses
ADHD as a primary focus
Career counseling or work-related issues
Those attending therapy due to court orders or mandates
Transgender-specific support related to letters for surgery or medical approvals
Requests for Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters
Quick-fix solutions or therapy focused solely on being “fixed” rather than a healing journey
If your needs fall outside the trauma and attachment framework, I encourage you to seek a provider whose expertise closely matches your goals to ensure you receive the most effective support.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jennifer Bloom. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Jennifer is extremely compassionate and understanding, even responding to messages sent at late hours when I'm having a hard time, and in just a few sessions has already helped me come to terms with things that haven't been right in my life more than anyone else ever has. This has been my first experience with actually talking to a therapist, and she's been excellent the whole time and has calmed a lot of the fears and negativity about therapy that have been ingrained in me growing up.
