Jennifer Chambless

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 8 years experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental health disorders, addictions, and co-occurring disorders in both clinical and housing settings. I am also able to provide assistance to those struggling with work/life balance, difficulties at work, and managing everyday stress/anxiety. Additionally, I am experienced in working with and providing support to parents experiencing loss of child custody, at various stages of managing their child custody situation, as well as working with individuals struggling with difficult breakups and developing independence outside of a romantic relationship.

I approach therapy from strengths perspective and most commonly use a cognitive behavioral theory approach, though I will tailor your treatment to meet your specific needs.

I firmly believe in the value and worth of all people and I regularly engage in advocacy to address social injustice on both the individual and societal level. I am both a Christian and a member of the LGBT community, and am comfortable in working with individuals of all backgrounds.

I look forward to working with you in your efforts to create positive change in your life!

Jennifer is responsive, empathetic and gives practical advice. I greatly appreciate her help and I feel much more hopeful about the future knowing I get to work through things with her. I trust her and don’t feel judged by her.

Jennifer is a godsend. And this format is wonderful. I wish I could accurately express how helpful it is to be able to reach out to someone anytime & know that I'll have a thoughtful, supportive response back later that day. I **really** like her solution-oriented/focus on the present approach to therapy. She treats me like the adult I am, not a permanently wounded person eternally scarred by my traumatic childhood.

Working with Jennifer has made a tremendous impact on my personal and professional life. Her approach and techniques have been very clear, helpful and precise. I have felt very open and comfortable approaching subjects and topics over the open forum of the website with her and would recommend Jennifer and betterhelp to anyone looking for assistance in getting help to better their themselves and their lives.
