Dr. Jennifer Cowen, Psychologist
About me
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist in California with over two decades of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging transitions. My clinical approach is grounded in doctoral training at UCLA and advanced postdoctoral specialization in early childhood. I integrate clinical research, gold-standard assessment practices, and evidence-based interventions to deliver thoughtful, personalized care.
I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and related conditions. I also help clients navigate a range of life stressors, including major transitions, depression, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges. When appropriate, I’m happy to work collaboratively with families to support lasting growth and healing.
I believe that each person is the expert of their own story—and that within every client lies the capacity for meaningful change. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling life takes courage, and I’m here to support you with empathy, insight, and guidance every step of the way.
