About Me

Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am a therapist who has practiced in various settings for almost 10 years. If you'd like to know more about me, feel free to go to my website: https://www.doublespirals.com.

My counseling style is a person-centered, nonjudgmental, eclectic, compassion-focused, and integrative approach: to healing and change, observation and action, connection to self and others. All of us experience struggles and suffering in our lives. The focus is to acknowledge what is going on in your life while working towards change from a place of compassion. Focusing on your strengths, building upon them, and helping you to move towards the values are important to you.

I approach counseling by way of collaboration between the therapist (myself) and you (the client) in a safe space. It is you that is giving me permission to be on this journey with you. Therapy is individualized to the person I am working with; not a one-size-fits-all approach. Observing what you are dealing with from a multifaceted perspective, not only in parts. Meeting you where you are at and us working together towards insight and understanding. Helping you learn tools, in order for you utilize them and to make those decisions on your own.

Thank you for your time and taking the courage to seek out support. Therapy is all about what each participant, therapist and client (you), put into to it. This is an empowering 1st step you have imparted for yourself. If you are ready to begin, I am here to accompany and support you on this journey ahead.

Jennifer has been my saving grace. It's really nice to talk to someone who understands me with no judgement. She's honest with me and is helping me be a better me.

Jennifer has been great help so far. She is compassionate towards my issues and offers me materials which really focus on the specific struggles I am facing. She gives thorough explanations and follows up to see how I am doing. Anyone would benefit from her counseling. Thanks Jennifer.

Jennifer is wonderfully supportive, knowledgeable and attentive in her responses. Absolutely balanced with compassion and empathy, as well as realistic gentle changes, which enable me to move forward without overwhelm. She recognizes, before I do, where reassurance is needed and she checks in with me in the loveliest, non-pressured way, if I haven’t been in contact for a while. Both Jennifer and the format of BetterHelp are truly delivering something special and much needed.

I absolutely love Jennifer! She is professional, kind, compassionate. She understands where I am coming from and listens to what I have to say. She asks me some hard questions, and tells me things I might not want to hear, but need to hear. I would recommend her to anyone!

Jennifer has been amazing, she just gets me and at times we are so similar because we have experienced the same things. She has a kind heart and soul and I am glad to now not only call her my councillor but also my friend. Totally recommend her.

I've been working with Jennifer for a short time and I am already so grateful to have such a dedicated, knowledgeable and compassionate counselor. She was able to quickly create a very safe space, free of judgement, where I felt comfortable to share my vulnerabilities and progress through therapy. I would recommend Jennifer to anyone!

I've seen counselors before, but Jennifer is by far the best counselor I've ever had. She is a very genuine person.
