Welcome - I am so glad you are here. My name is Jen Del Gallo & I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 7 years of experience working with clients. I have had the pleasure of working with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and phase of life changes. I have also worked with those struggling with eating disorders/disordered eating in outpatient & intensive outpatient settings.
I am client-focused in my therapeutic approach, so we can talk about whatever you would like to share and process. I am also very holistic in my approach and believe that your environment, your friends, your family members, etc. play a large role in who you are and where you are today. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and psychodynamic . I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I often let you direct which way you would like your sessions to go, however I like to ask questions along the way to help provide clarity and help you process through certain things, maybe in a way you have not thought about them before.
I also believe the therapeutic relationship is key in making positive progress in therapy. Each session is all about you and I want to make sure you feel it is beneficial, so I am very open to feedback and finding what suits you best.
I know it is not always easy to reach out and ask for help, but I believe it is so important. My hope is our work together proves to be helpful and beneficial for you in many different areas of your life. I look forward to working together!
