About Me

I am a counselor licensed in Tennessee with 10 years of experience working in a clinical setting. I have worked with a variety of clients who have struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, adjusting to life changes, as well as issues resulting from physical, sexual, and emotional abuse.

When working with clients I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity that is free from judgment. My approach to therapy can be cognitive-behavioral or solution-focused. I am also trained in EMDR which I use with my in-person clients. We will work together to decide on treatment goals and create a treatment plan that best addresses the issues you would like to cover.

Change can sometimes be scary but it is reachable. I appreciate you considering allowing me to join you on your journey to wellness. I look forward to working with you.

Jennifer is the second provider I've worked with through betterhelp, and I count myself as lucky. I always look forward to our chats-I'm happy that someone so professional is available through this service.

She is very well informed, professional, and understanding. She has a way of making you feel heard, safe, and wanted. She doesn't push her own agenda. Its about the mental health and well being of the councilee.

Jennifer is top notch...she is kind and compassionate and professional. I find it difficult to trust people and Jennifer has made it easy for me to trust and connect with her. I truly appreciate her experience and wonderful way that she helps guide me to see other angles of my situation.

Jennifer is caring and very accessible. I feel like I have made so much more progress with her than I have any other counselor. She doesn’t make me feel bad about my less desirable or unkind thoughts. She has this great maternal energy.
