I am a Mental Health counselor who has been in the field for over 4 years. I have worked with a wide range of people ranging in age from 10-65 and working on issues related to depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, trauma/abuse, parenting, self-worth, grief, and so much more. While working at a drug and alcohol rehab center I had the opportunity to work with clients who have struggled with trauma and abuse and how that impacted their lives. I also was privileged to see how much these survivors grew because they were able to talk about the trauma without being shamed or looked down on.
My counseling style is empathetic and compassionate. I believe everyone has their own unique story to tell and that by telling this story freedom and growth can occur. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. My approach is eclectic focusing mostly on cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and shame resilience. Your concerns and needs will direct our conversations and treatment plan to meet your specific needs.
Choosing to seek help is a huge step to healing and growth, whether it is to develop better stress coping skills, deal with the loss of a loved one, or to process through some very painful traumatic experiences. I am here for you to help you on this journey.
I look forward to spending more time with you and working with you.

Jennifer has been really patient with me and has really comprehended in helping me with my situation.
I have anxiety about working through feelings, putting them down in words and letting someone else read them. Jennifer has helped me feel safe doing that and is great at following up with me. I’m so glad she is here to help me.
I have only been talking to Jennifer for a few weeks. She has been very attentive & supportive. She is ready available to suggest ways to deal with my every day chaos. I recently had a sever bipolar episode however she has check on me everyday; even if I haven't responded she will still send me a message to check on me. At this time I have no sick days at work; so going to a therapist is not an option for me. I am so grateful that I came across Betterhelp and found a great therapist. The best part is that I can email her everyday or 5 times a day!! Thank you Betterhelp & Jennifer for being my safety rope! I really appreciate it!
While I have not been in this relationship very long, Jennifer has given me good feedback and has shown insight into my issues. I enjoy communicating with her very much and think it has helped me a lot to get a better perspective on my difficulties and problems.
Jennifer asks important questions which help me to dig deeper and find the root causes of what is troubling me. She checks in with me frequently if she doesn't hear from me.
I've been working with Jennifer for about 3 weeks now and she has been amazing. She asks me the right questions to get me thinking, which helps me to figure out what it is I need to do. I am very, very impressed with her understanding of a very complicated mental disorder. I just cannot say enough about how she has helped me. I was in therapy for many years and I didn't learn near as much about myself as I have since beginning to work with her.
Jennifer is absolutely wonderful. She listens, seems to genuinely understand and care about your concerns, and offers gentle advice without seeming condescending or dismissive. She's obviously a deeply empathetic counselor with a natural, easy-going approach. I found it very easy to open up to her.
Jennifer always makes sure you are doing well and respects the thinking space for responding. She challenges you to think about the big picture and steps to progress not perfection.
I absolutely love her. I feel so comfortable and I feel like she actually cares.
I've only been talking with Jennifer a few days, but she has been insightful. Encouraging. Willing to help.
Very helpful. She is helping me get through a very hard time in my life right now.
