You're in the right place and I'm glad you're here. I'm Jennifer.
Thank you for considering exploring what's getting in the way of you living the life you've imagined. I use a collaborative approach where I walk beside you through this process. You'll feel less alone and you have a trusted person to help you carry your burdens.
For the past five years, I've worked with those who experience psychosis, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, substance abuse disorders, and grief and loss. Unfortunately, accompanying a lot of these diagnosis are depression, anxiety, difficulty in relationship, and social isolation. I will offer you a safe space to talk about these feelings and experiences I specialize in helping you feel less distressed about your experiences and help you identify your strengths in order to slowly make changes in your life.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and like to incorporate mindfulness into the therapy process. Science says that mindfulness helps with recommended treatment for everything from pain and insomnia to parenting and depression. I would be happy to help you learn this skill if you wish. I also use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and special training in mindful self-compassion, and postpartum depression and anxiety.
Believe it or not, you're not alone in this. I offer a straightforward and balanced approach making you feel heard and understood. You'll rediscover your own strengths even though you feel uncertain about them. Together we can take you to a place more hopeful and satisfying. I look forward to working together.

Jenn is very supportive and knowledgeable in dealing with my conditions and gives me helpful action plans to help me avoid future pitfalls. She is patient and kind but not afraid to call me out on my actions when it is necessary! I've appreciated her guidance and continue to work with her because she is the best therapist I have worked with in many years. I would recommend her to anyone struggling with bipolar or domestic violence. She has been a godsend.
