About me

My approach is gentle but direct. I like to form a genuine connection with clients so that we are able to work collaboratively in achieving goals. Many clients I have worked with are struggling to manage issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, and self injury. I have training in CBT, DBT, and EMDR and take an eclectic, humanistic approach to best suit each individual's needs. I graduated with my MSW in 2012 from Adelphi University. Since graduating, the majority of my career has been spent working with individuals in crisis situations. I have also spent a significant amount of time working as a Mental Health Evaluator in the Psychiatric Emergency Department.

Jennifer has helped me through some very rough times in my life. She is attentive, personable, kind, and incredibly empathetic. She truly cares about her clients and always tries her best to be as accommodating as possible. If you are like me and struggle with personality disorders that cripple you with erratic mood swings and suicidal ideations, I'd HIGHLY recommend her as a therapist!

She’s awesome! Very attentive and supportive, and surprisingly easy for me to open up to! It’s almost effortless due to her being so attentive and comforting. We haven’t yet gotten to solving most solutions yet which is totally on me since I have the tendency of going off on tangents as well as what seems to be boundless issues that arise daily, so I respect that she’s hearing me out and getting to know how my brain works first. I feel liberated every time we talk and so i look forward to continue working her.
