Thank you for coming to my page. My name is Jennifer Garcia, LMHC. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor based out of Florida. I enjoy helping clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship and marital issues. parenting problems, coping with addiction, stress and career challenges. I also help individuals who have suffered from trauma and emotional abuse. I also specialize in women’s issues and self empowerment. I have experience in workplace issues and working with difficult environments.
My therapeutic style is open, warm and understanding. I believe in meeting my clients where they're at and allowing them to move at their own pace while simultaneously challenging them to work towards their treatment goals. I have experience in different holistic approaches as well that utilize both the mind and body connection. Additional approaches combines solution-focus, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic counseling and a heavy focus on mindfulness. I believe in molding every therapeutic approach to the needs of each specific client.
Reaching out for support is the first step in healing and also one of the hardest. Being open to discuss your deep issues that can get in the way of your life is the first step to success. This process can feel overwhelming and difficult. I am happy to walk this path of healing with you and look forward to speaking with you soon.
