Jennifer Heggem, LPC
About me
As your personal therapist, I seek to create a space where you are free to be yourself. Always client-centered, I continuously strive to help you move towards your individual therapeutic goals. I rely heavily on building the therapeutic relationship, as I see it as the cornerstone to your individual growth and success. I enjoy working collaboratively with you to help create tailor-made solutions and approaches best suited to your individual needs.
Currently, I work in private practice, serving individuals and couples experiencing personal and relational issues, life transitions, anxiety, stress, depression, substance abuse issues, suicidal thoughts, as well as other concerns. Previously, I have worked with several agencies helping families dealing with physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. I have also been a volunteer presenter with Two Together in Texas and the Center for Relational Leadership with their marital and relational seminars. Additionally, I have previously been trained as and have worked as a Crisis Counselor.
I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN and my undergraduate degree in Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family from Northwestern College, also in St. Paul, MN.
