About Me

I am a Licensed Marital and Family therapist. This means I not only work with individuals but couples and families as well. This scope includes relationships of all types, not just romantic but bosses, co-workers, classmates, friends, teammates, or anyone whom you have a connection to.

If you are looking for a partner to navigate a difficult situation that will use a realistic life approach without all the "therapy jargon" that's me. I pay close attention to your goals and help to weed through any roadblocks standing in your way of achieving these goals. I am direct but also empathetic and caring.

I have experience working in diverse areas of need and subscribe to a Solution-Focused approach with treatment always based on the client's goal for therapy. Areas of emphasis include, but are not limited to: stress management, sports performance and visualization, marital issues, conflict resolution, communication skills, assertiveness training, women's issues, LGBTQ issues, self-esteem, parenting, career and life transitions, anger management, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement.

I come from an eclectic background which contributes to a well rounded life experience. In High School I earned a degree in Culinary/Baking. I graduated from college with my BA in the Arts field and quickly discovered that art is my personal passion and not best as my career focus. I was also a year-round athlete from the age of 12 through college and beyond. Years later after soul searching I earned my Masters degree from Central Connecticut State University in Marriage and Family Therapy and found my true calling and perfect career fit. After a few years of practicing in CT I moved to TN, and then FL where I currently live with my wonderful Spouse and our two beautiful daughters.

I look forward to working with you!
-Jennifer

Jennifer has been tremendously helpful thus far. She's a very effective and gets straight to the point in a helpful and non-abrasive fashion.

I've only been using BetterHelp for a short time, but Jennifer has really helped me to get a better handle on things. She has pointed out details in the things I told her and put them in a different perspective, which made me see them in a better light. I think this is probably the best thing I could have done under my current circumstances. I'm very grateful for the service this site provides and especially for Jennifer's insight and advice.

I haven't known Jennifer for long, but, from what I can tell, she's a kind, compassionate, intelligent therapist who responds promptly. I can tell that she puts thought into her responses to me. She's encouraging and not judgmental at all.

Jennifer and I have been talking for a short amount of time but she has been awesome the whole time. She is very helpful and straightforward. I could not have found someone better.
