About me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Indiana. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2010 with a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. In 2007 I also earned a Bachelors of Science in Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire. I have been working in the field of mental health since 2006. I have experience working in residential facilities, psychiatric hospitals, National Suicide Prevention Hotline, school based, and outpatient therapy providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

My treatment approach is a systemic approach meaning understanding that our health, relationships, environment, and culture are all interconnected and affect the symptoms we are experiencing. I tailor treatments to each specific client's needs. I believe my clients are the experts on their lives and I am here to guide them on their journey. I use a mindfulness based approach in my treatments with a belief in the connection between our mind and body.
