About me

As a Clinical Social Worker, Jennifer utilizes evidence-based practices to ensure ethical practice allowing clients to experience emotional relief without additional trauma. Clients create personalized treatment goals, develop crisis safety plans, and effectively work towards their treatment goals at their own pace. As a mental health clinician, she provides a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore and/or examine their personal thoughts and feelings utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Jennifer has worked in the mental health field since 2007, obtaining experience in Juvenile Justice, Mental Health, Home-Based Therapy, Individual, Family, and Group Therapy, Crisis Intervention, and Psychiatric Social Work Services. Her primary specialty includes working with children (age 6-18) and their primary support system utilizing TF-CBT.

She coordinates with clients to develop an Individualized Plan of Service to identify the best treatment approach. Jennifer has found her therapeutic approach works well with adults treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief. She (also) provides faith-based therapy as a part of treatment plan at the client's discretion and/or request.
